The Mission of Project Rebirth is to:

• Chronicle living history and honor 9/11 victims and first responders;
• Collaborate with world class partners to advance projects and initiatives closely aligned with Rebirth’s content and mission;
• Reinvest proceeds from commercial distribution of Project Rebirth’s documentary film to endow a Project Rebirth Center.

With $9 million committed out of a $14 million budget — and a team comprised of leading figures from Hollywood, Wall Street, New York’s government and business communities, and academic and medical organizations — Project Rebirth has succeeded in building a strong foundation for its long term success.  We plan to continue filming at the WTC site until the rebuilding is complete. 

Project Rebirth needs financial support to ensure that we can fulfill our commitment and responsibility to capture history on film. The level of near term financial support we receive will determine how much of the living history of the rebuilding of the WTC site we will be able to capture, and of the stories of Rebirth’s subjects as they cope with life after 9/11.
